Board Care and Maintanence

After purchasing a board from GP Mercantile, it is ready to use and has been finished with our own board wax, containing FDA approved 100% mineral oil and pure beeswax.

After use, clean your board with a damp cloth or sponge with mild dish soap. Once cleaned, leave the board to air dry in an upright position or on its side. Never leave to dry flat as this may cause the board to warp. NEVER submerge in water and NEVER PUT IN THE DISHWASHER!

Refinish your board with the provided board wax. Wipe the wax on your board with a clean cloth and allow to sit for a few minutes. Wipe off excess and buff with a cloth. Your board is now ready to use or display. Try to store on its side, away from sunlight and heat.
